The BC Launch Online Grant Program is designed to help small- and medium-size organizations across British Columbia adapt an online presence and successfully shift to the digital world. RTOWN wants to work with you every step of the way to ensure your application process is effortless and stress free!
How Does the Launch Online Grant Program Work?
The B.C Launch Online Grant program provides funding, up to a maximum of $7,500 per business, to B.C based organizations to create, improve, or expand their online presence.
The program is open to both profit and not-for-profit organizations.
Eligibility
- The business is owned by a B.C resident(s)
- The businesses primary operations are located in B.C
- The business is:
- Currently operating
- Registered in B.C
- Employs 1 to 149 B.C residents
- Pays B.C taxes
- Maintains a federal business number, GST number, PST and worksafeBC number
- Generated more than $30,000 in sales in the past year (2019, 2020)
- One of the following applies:
- Does not have an online store or has an online store with limited functionality
- Does not have an online booking system or has an online booking system with limited functionality
The Application Process
The grant program application has 3 steps:
- RTOWN will walk you through designing and developing a grant proposal. This explains how you plan to use the funds provided to your business.
- RTOWN will help you fill out and complete the online application in order to prove your business meets the eligible criteria and to submit your proposal.
- This is the stage where you find out if your application has been approved. RTOWN will be here to plan out your online presence and map out each and every one of your goals.
Application Deadlines
The program applications will be accepted until September 30, 2021 or until all funds are distributed. Funding is on a first-come first-serve basis.
