RTOWN, one of Canada’s leading full-service digital marketing agencies focused on serving growing mid-market firms across Canada, is seeking a Business Development Manager with 5 years of proven experience selling digital marketing services.
Our customers rely on us for strategy, content marketing, websites, SEO, paid media, social media, and email marketing. New services addressing the world’s AI opportunities are also available to our client base. We act as an extension to our clients’ businesses and aim to bring clarity and confidence to their marketing efforts and outcomes.
The successful candidate will work with a dedicated remote team. You will drive revenue from new business and existing clients and will be compensated competitively through a base salary and commission.
For RTOWN, the successful candidate will provide:
- Strategic prospecting and account acquisition, hunting new logos and upselling to existing customers.
- The ability to hold the confidence of C-level business leaders to drive digital adoption of RTOWN’s digital marketing products.
- Ability to adapt to rapid change, think critically, communicate effectively, and anticipate challenges to come for strategic accounts and advise the company on changes needed to meet the needs of our customers.
- Accountability to short and long-term objectives – primarily set around revenue growth and retention.
- Strategic knowledge of the digital marketing stack without the need to be hands on in the various platforms (websites, e-commerce search, social media). That is, you can speak to the business case and value of these tools yet are not the “doer” of these functions. An expert in articulating value and how they help businesses succeed.
- Functionally accountable for two primary areas:
- Customer Acquisition: new revenue growth, revenue retention, and up-selling
