You are: a business development executive with experience and passion in the digital marketing space. The successful candidate will be expected to primarily work with prospective and existing customers to drive new customer acquisition from ideal-fit customers who will be assured of outcomes that we promise to every customer that ultimately leads to long-term customer retention and raving fans of our brand.

For RTOWN, the successful candidate will provide:

  • Strategic prospecting and new account acquisition
  • The ability to hold the confidence of C-level business leaders to drive digital adoption of RTOWN’s functioning (and always improving) performance marketing products (search, social, conversion-rate optimization, website development, e-commerce development, etc)
  • Ability to adapt to rapid change, think critically, communicate effectively and anticipate challenges to come for strategic accounts and advise RTOWN on changes needed to meet the changing needs of our customers
  • Hold themselves accountable to short and long-term objectives – primarily set around revenue growth, customer outcomes and customer experiences.
  • Tactical and strategic knowledge of the digital marketing stack (websites, search, social media), but not a “doer” of these functions. An expert in articulating their value and how they help SMBs succeed.
  • Functionally accountable for two primary areas:
  • Customer Acquisition: new revenue growth, revenue retention, and up-selling
  • Customer Success: customer ROI + retention * Exemplary leadership skills, with no need to manage direct reports. A champion of the company AND the customer. Knows how to instill purpose and meaningful work for their teammates around them. A positive team player who provides feedback and coaches their peers to improve. You have a special set of skills:

  • A Guru with Certification in Google Analytics and Google Ads
  • Expert knowledge of social platforms and ad managers
  • Experience working with WordPress
  • Experience working with Unbounce
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Able to create and manage paid search & display Google Ad campaigns
  • Experience in using Google Ads – Search, display, remarketing, video ads
  • Proficient with Google Tag Manager (analytics and set up conversion tracking for website)
  • A mutual love for SEO and Social and using these channels to drive results for clients
  • A pro at analyzing Social Media data and developing key insights that will drive performance and results against client objectives
  • Experience with on-page and off-page SEO; with the ability to explain what you do to non-technical people.
  • Experience in copywriting to make informed recommendations to increase web conversions
  • Pixel Tracking and Landing Pages are part of your wheelhouse. Including A/B testing and maximizing conversions
  • Working knowledge of non-Google analytics programs (Moz, aHrefs, Google Data Studio, SEMRush, Serpbook.etc
  • Keep up with current CRO/SEO/SEM news and updates because you absolutely love it
  • Create meaningful connections with our vendors and maintain a great working relationship (article writers, designers, back-linking teams, etc)

You are also:

  • Confident relaying value to our customers with a great level of understanding of analytics – comfortable in face-to-face, telephone and video conference customer meetings
  • Extremely organized, can multi-task and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Available to assist on admin tasks when needed to assist with moving the company forward
  • Effective at tracking, measuring, and analyzing all initiatives to report on social media ROI.

About the Position: You will be joining the social media team in Customer Success and looking after social media accounts with a heavy emphasis on digital advertising for local businesses within your region. Expect to manage analytics/reporting, the creation of marketing plans, regular posting and nurturing strong client relationships across many platforms but particularly Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. This role will report to the Director of Marketing Operations on our Customer Success Team.

About You:

  • Highly developed social media acumen, previous experience a MUST;
  • Experience running cost-effective Facebook and Instagram ads (examples required);
  • Proven track record of building a large social media following;
  • Ability to translate social reporting and convey its meaning to customers;
  • Detail-oriented;
  • Fluent in all social media platforms and ability to show previous work;
  • Previous experience/education in marketing/communications/ and or social media;
  • Willingness to learn, grow and expand with your role as demand builds;
  • Able to work well both in a collaborative team setting and independently from home;

You are: Comfortable with the responsibilities of designing, developing and updating the websites (WordPress) and online stores (mix of shopify and woocommerce) of the various RTOWN partners. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the customer success and web teams, working with our vendors to securely host, manage and maintain our portfolio.

For RTOWN, the successful candidate will provide:

  • Define the information structure and architecture of our partners websites and online stores, taking into account technical requirements
  • Develop websites and online stores from mockups
  • Install and manage Google Tag Manager scripts and configure relevant triggers
  • Analyze and understand partners business needs, and act as strategic advisory services to them.
  • Build and optimize performance landing pages
  • Modification of existing websites (website restructuring, integration or modification of content, integration of forms, banners and pop-ups, etc.)
  • Perform website migration if necessary
  • Update our partners websites
  • Manage web hosting, SSL certificates and DNS servers
