RTOWN Retreat

 

In early July, the RTOWN team came together for our first annual RTOWN Retreat. Our CEO, Luke Aulin, arranged a trip to the Lazy River on a majestic property just outside of Kamloops, BC. With the beautiful desert scenery and great team vibes, we were eager to bring out the white boards and get started!

Our primary goal for the weekend was to collectively define our core values. Most importantly, how we can align those values with our purpose and mission for the company. Through dedication and teamwork we developed key principles for how we all do business.

A gigantic outdoor picnic table was our casual boardroom for the weekend, the perfect place to share new ideas and expand upon existing ones. Team activities kept things casual as we cruised the river in boats, made s’mores, played bocce ball and enjoyed many rounds of pool.

At RTOWN, not only do we like to have fun together, we love what we do. The concept of work is not something that comes to mind when we talk shop. After three productive days together, we left the retreat feeling inspired and eager to take on the year ahead!
