Paid Search Specialist (PPC) | Freelancer

JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a talented PPC Specialist to manage and optimize our pay-per-click advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving successful PPC campaigns, demonstrating a deep understanding of Google, Bing, Meta & LinkedIn Ads, analytics, and optimization techniques.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING – THE DETAILS

  • Develop and implement effective PPC strategies across multiple platforms, such as Google, Bing, Meta & LinkedIn Ads.
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify new opportunities and optimize existing campaigns.
  • Create compelling ad copy.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the competitiveness of our PPC campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align PPC strategies with overall marketing objectives and initiatives.
  • Test and optimize various campaign elements, including ad creatives, targeting, and bidding strategies.
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to achieve optimal ROI.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR – MUST HAVE

  • University degree or college diploma with a minimum of 3 years of experience in digital paid media, including implementation and optimization of campaigns
  • Current Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Facebook Ad certifications
  • Proficient with Google Workspace, Google Analytics, Data Studio, SuperMetrics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Twitter Ads, MailChimp, Zapier, Ahrefs, and Keyword Planner
  • Experience leading successful campaigns working across paid digital marketing channels, including media planning and buying experience for social, search, and display
  • Hands-on experience with lead generation techniques, optimizing and growing organic digital channels, and reporting on their success
  • Understanding of web technologies and concepts; search engines, landing page design and optimization, tools and trends
  • Exceptional analytical and reporting skills with an understanding of how to track, analyze, and measure results which translates into informed decisions
  • A strong grasp of web analytics, A/B testing, and metrics-driven (performance) marketing
  • Knowledge and experience with conversion metrics, including CPM, CTR, CPC, CPA
  • Ability to use digital media expertise to inform strategic recommendations in a timely manner

Backlinking - Link Building Specialist -Contractor Wanted

RTOWN, one of Canada’s leading full-service digital marketing agencies focused on serving growing mid-market firms across Canada, is seeking a Social Media Strategist & Content Writer with 5 years of proven experience.  

Our customers rely on us for strategy, content marketing, websites, SEO, paid media, social media, and email marketing. We act as an extension to our clients’ businesses and aim to bring clarity and confidence to their marketing efforts and outcomes.

The successful candidate will work with a dedicated remote team. This is a one-year, part-time contract position for approximately 25 to 30 hours per month. 

 

Requirements

  • Develop and implement effective backlinking strategies.
  • Analyze competitors’ backlinks, current client backlinks, DA’s, referring domains etc.
  • Conduct research to identify potential link building opportunities.
  • Collaborate with clients to create link-worthy content (blogs, articles, etc.)
  • Reach out to website owners and bloggers to further secure backlinks.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices for backlinking.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality of incoming backlinks.
  • Work with other members of the SEO and web development team to improve the website ranking and visibility.
  • Experiment on different strategies and look for new websites for backlinking opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze client backlinks and keyword rankings through digital tools such as Google Keyword Planner and Ahrefs.
  • Report to clients on backlinking progress and outcomes. 

 

Requirements and Skills

  • 5+ years proven experience planning and implementing backlink campaigns.
  • Experience in SEO, Digital Marketing, Communications.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and backlink tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication (both written and verbal), and problem solving skills.
  • Strategic mindset to build and own an effective backlinking strategy.
  • Highly structured and organized.
